Sighting Resource in SW Virginia

Great resources have been made with tracking sightings of Cougars in Southwest Virginia. With this year, a multitude of sightings have popped up around Botetourt County, West to Wythe. Its just a matter of time for Someone to take the conclusive picture of the mountain lions in Virginia. The bigger question now isn't, "Are there Mountain Lions in the East?" It is now, "Are the Cougars in the Eastern States native or foreign?" A harder question to prove, as DNA is needed. If you ask the (DGIF) Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, they don't exist expect possible escaped pets. Its really just a matter of time.
